FAQ’s
You probably already know that successful event planning, as with most things in life, is all about preparation. To ensure things run smoothly on the day, you need to invest time in advance in navigating obstacles before they even occur.
* Please note – FAQs are predominantly for private functions and gigs.
Do we supply our own equipment?
Yes, Tracy and her band members have their own industry-standard quality equipment for the output of the best professional sound.
How much space do you need to set up?
This depends on the number of band members performing together. A good rule of thumb is approximately 1.5 m2 per person.
How long do we perform for?
As a guide, most bands offer 3 x 40-minute sets as standard, with 20 min breaks over 3 hrs, however, 4 hour gigs are negotiable.
What are your power requirements?
We require no more than 3 – 4 meter access to 240v power. All extension leads are provided, however, it’s advisable not to run long leads across open areas or in wet weather.
Do we require a rider?
Well this is completely up to you. If so, we graciously ask for any hot food to be served during one of our break times.
How and when should I pay the balance?
It varies, but most acts ask for 50% payment to be cleared in their account before the day of the event and the remainder paid on the night for private gigs.
Will you perform my favourite song?
Yes we gladly perform requests if the requested song is within our repertoire.
Questions to ask your venue
It sounds obvious, but we’ve seen instances where a client has booked us, only to discover their venue can’t accommodate live music.
Arrival times
Most venues and events require the artists to arrive an hour before commencing.
If you have any other questions please feel free to ask them in the form area and Tracy will get back to you as soon as possible.
